Both Mr. Golding and Dr. Brown Burke recently resigned as members of the Senate, in order to take up their new positions in the lower house.

And, the JLP’s Dr. Norman Dunn also took his oath, as the new MP for South East St. Mary.

Dr. Dunn replaces the PNP’s  Dr. Winston Green who died in August.

Dr. Dunns victory increases the governing JLP’s majority by one seat, to now hold 33.

The opposition PNP now has 30 seats.
