Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson from was today denied entry in Chile citing non-compliance with immigration laws.

The American boxer mike was escorted by members of the investigative police of Chile (PDI) at the Santiago international airport, and put back on a flight out of the country.

Local media reported that the former world heavyweight champion was planning to attend an awards ceremony for action films taking place in Santiago, Chile’s capital.

In the meantime, the PDI did not specify which part of the law Tyson did not comply with, nor were any details given as to the extent of the alleged violation.
