The West Indies two day game against Northern Subhurbs District ends in draw

The West Indies Cricketers two day practice match against the Northern Subhurbs District Team in Brisbane ended in a draw on today’s final day.

Responding to the West Indians total of 352 for 8, the Northern Subhurbs were blown away for 165.

Captain Jason Holder took 2 for 16, Alzari Joseph 2 for 18 while Floyd Reifer took 2 for 47.

Yesterday a blazing century from young Guyanese batsman Shimron Hetmyer led the West Indies cricketers to 352 for 8

Hetmyer cracked 119 retired off 118 balls with eight sixes.

The West Indies team is preparing for a test and ODI series in New Zealand .
