Lewis Hamilton crash out of the Brazil Grand Prix qualifiers

by November 11th, 2017

Newly crowned formula one world champion Lewis Hamilton crashed out of the Brazil Grand Prix earlier today.

The Mercedes star who wrapped up a record world title ahead of rival Sebastian Vettel went spinning after losing the rear of his car through turn 6 during the first lap of qualifying. Despite the mishap he remains undaunted.

It means the Brit will start his race in Sao Paulo at the back of the grid.

Mercedes chiefs are sure to be sweating as they look to clinch the constructor’s championship title ahead of Ferrari.

Their hopes now rest with Valtteri Bottas, who could be in a straight shootout with Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen for top spot.

Meanwhile, Hamilton is also under fire for avoiding £3.3million-worth of tax on a £16.5m private jet.
