by November 14th, 2017

Jamaican sprinter Nesta Carter is  getting  ready  to  face   the Court of Arbitration for sport (CAS) for  his  appeal  against the ruling which  stripped  Jamaica’s  men’s  4  by  100  metres  relay  team of  the  2008  Beijing  Olympic  gold  medal.

If carter, who ran the first leg of the relay   lose the appeal, then Trinidad and Tobago will be awarded the gold medal, japan the silver and Brazil the bronze.

Carter was also part of Jamaica’s 4x100m Olympic gold medal winning team at London 2012.

Carter was also a member of the 4x100m team which won gold medals at the 2011, 2013 and 2015 IAAF World Championships in Daegu, Moscow and Beijing respectively.
