Hard-hitting West Indies batsman Kieron Pollard has now become the third highest run getter in T/20’s.

He achieved the feat after smashing a quick-fire 55 for the Dhaka dynamites who beat the Khulna titans by four wickets yesterday to go top of the table in the Bangladesh premier league T/20.

Khulna after losing the toss and sent to bat, made 156 for 5 with west indies t20 captain Carlos Brathwaite slamming 64 not out.

Brathwaite’s which came from 29 balls included 4 fours and 6 sixes.

Dhaka in reply made 157 for 6 in 19.4 overs thanks to Pollard who moved above David Warner into third place on 7,594 runs after smashing 3 fours and 6 sixes in his 25 ball stay at the crease.

A result that sees him behind only Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum on the all-time scoring list.

Dhaka with the result which was their third straight win moved to the top of the table on 6 points.
