Martin Lyn back in the race for leadership of Swimming

Former president of the Amateur Swimming Association of Jamaica Martin Lyn is again in line to aim for the leadership of the association at its upcoming elections.

The election which comes as part of the upcoming annual general meeting will be held on November 29 in order to establish the executive which will be responsible for handling the affairs of the ASAJ for the next two years.

Lyn’s slate will include Georgia Sinclair, who  will be running for the post of vice president, Carol  Thompson will vying for the post of secretary and Richard Hopkins will contest the spot for treasurer.

The present administration is being led by Handel Lamey, who survived a no confidence vote at a special meeting of the association last December.
