National amateur golf champion Sean Morris as well as the Cricket West Indies  president Dave Cameron, have all been registered to compete in this weekend’s 2017 Alliance Buccaneer Memorial Golf tournament.

The event which is in its 22nd staging will be played between Saturday and Sunday at the Caymanas Golf Club in St Catherine.

The star studded cast of competitors also include experience campaigners Gordon Hutchinson , Wayne chai-Chong and Peter Chin ……….as well as  Rory Jardine, Radcliffe Knibbs and Jonathon Newnham.

The tournament features two different competitions running concurrently.

One will be a two-day, 36-hole Jamaica Golf Association (JGA) qualifier, while the other, to be played on Sunday, will be a modified Stableford competition in the form of a charity fundraiser for the laws street trade training Centre and the Jamaica cancer society.

The objective of the charity game this year is to raise in excess of one and a half million Jamaican dollars for the two institutions.
