A woman and her daughter were killed in Cambridge ST James last evening.

Dead are 44-year-old Annmarie Johnson and 24-year-old Shantoy Mckenzie, both of Mother Lane, Cambridge, ST  James.

Their bodies were found at their home.

Reports are that about 9:45 p.m., explosions were heard and the police summoned.

Upon their arrival, both women were found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

They were taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.  Investigations continue.
