Popular dancehall selector Niko Chromatic of Chromatic sound and his team are thankful, despite police pulling the plug on their charity event at 3am on Sunday morning.

At the peak of the event which featured an appearance by Niko himself on stage, excited patrons were hoping for more, pleading with the police to play their part in the noble cause by extending the time. However, under the Noise Abatement Act, events being held on weekends should end at 2am.

Niko Chromatic’s longtime partner Kimberly Mais, has since expressed heart felt gratitude to the patrons, friends, family, sponsors and promoters who turned out for the cause.

Dancehall for a Cause the benefit concert which got off to a late start on Saturday night, was being held to raise funds for the ailing Niko Chromatic who is in dire need of a kidney transplant.
