This time next year Buju Banton will be a free man.

The incarcerated entertainer who is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence in the United States will be released on December 8, 2018, according to the Bureau of Prisons online.

Last October, after visiting the Gargamel, Grammy-winning entertainer Sean Paul said Buju was in high spirits and that fans should “Expect greatness again.”

Buju Banton was convicted on cocaine distribution and conspiracy charges in February 2011 following his December 2009 arrest, he was sentenced to 10 years and is slated to be released on December 8, 2018.

Despite being locked up, Buju Banton is currently promoting his new clothing line ‘Everything BB’. The line features caps, and t-shirts displaying Buju Banton’s image on the front with song lyrics such as ‘Over Hills And Valley’ on the back.
