LeBron James recorded his fourth triple double to power the Cleveland Cavaliers’ to a 121-112 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA last night.

James scored 25 points to go along with 12 rebounds and 12 assists. It was also the 59th triple-double in James’ career, tying him with Larry bird for sixth all-time.

The Cavs jumped to 21 and 8, and earned their 16th win in 17 games, to sit second in the Eastern conference standings.

Kevin Durant scored 36 points, and grabbed 11 rebounds to inspire defending champions Golden State Warriors to their eight straight win after dribbling past The Dallas Mavericks 112-97 .

In other games Detroit pistons stopped the flight of the Atlanta Hawks 105-91, new York Knicks were 111-104 winners over Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves shut out the Sacramento Kings 119-96 .
