by December 15th, 2017

Jamaican left-arm Seamer Sheldon Cottrell and his compatriot wicketkeeper-batsman Chadwick Walton have both been named in the West Indies One Day squad for the ODI series against New Zealand.

This following the omission of batsman Marlon Samuels and seam bowler Alzari Joseph due to injuries.

Samuels pulled out due to a hand injury while seam bowler Joseph has had to withdraw because of a back strain.

Ashley Nurse has been named as replacement for spinner Sunil Narine, who was only selected in the T20 squad, but withdrew due to personal reasons.

The Caribbean side already lost Sunil Ambris due to the blow he took to his left arm in the second test and has already been replaced in the ODI squad by Shimron Hetmyer.

The ‘Windies will play three One Day Internationals and three T/20 internationals in New Zealand with the start of the 50-over series set to take place next Wednesday.
