Miss Jamaica Universe Davina Bennett will have a street named after her in Clarendon.

The announcement was made by Minister of Local Government and Community Development Desmond McKenzie at a Tree Light Ceremony in the parish.

Music News understands that Middle Street in Mitchell Town, is to be renamed her honour.

Davina Bennett, who is from Vegas Middle Street, was also presented with the key to the township of May Pen, in recognition of her achievement in promoting and showcasing the cultural diversity of Jamaica locally and internationally.

She recently copped the second runner-up title at this year’s Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas, United States.
