Corey Burke joins Andre Blake at Philadelphia Union

Jamaican international Corey Burke is joining goalkeeper Andre Blake at the Philadelphia Union in the MLS next season.

Burke on Wednesday signed for the Union after playing two seasons with Philadelphia’s USL affiliate team Bethlehem Steel where he was the second leading scorer last season with 9 goals.

Burke, who has 13 international caps joined Bethlehem Steel ahead of their inaugural season in 2016 on a year-long loan from Rivoli United.

He went on to hit the back of the net four times in 21 games in his debut campaign before joining the team on a permanent deal ahead of the 2017 season.

The Philadelphia Union in the meantime will open the 2018 MLS campaign at home against the New England Revolution on March 3.
