Two men arrested by the St. Ann police last evening (Jan 12), following a high speed chase along the North Coast Highway are to be handed over to the St. James police.

The men reportedly stole a Toyota Fielder motor car from Brandon Hill in St. James and were pursued by cops.

The vehicle was intercepted in Ocho Rios.

The incident resulted in a major traffic pile up in the vicinity of fisherman’s beach.

Acting head of the St. Ann police, Senior Superintendent Michael Smith, says lawmen got wind of the robbery and intervened.

SSP Smith is warning unscrupulous individuals to stay away from the parish.
