Aisha Praught the best placed Jamaican at the new Boston Indoor Grand Prix on the weekend

New national 3000 meters Women’s record holder Aisha Praught was the best placed Jamaican at the new Boston Indoor Grand Prix on the weekend.

Pruaght was a second place finisher in the 1500 meters in a time of 4 minutes 04.95 seconds.

She finished behind winner Dawit Seyaum of Ethiopia who clocked 4 minutes 04.38 seconds.

World relay 4×400 meters bronze medallist Steven Gayle also took second place in the men’s 400 meters in 47.43 seconds behind winner Deon Lendore of Trinidad and Tobago 46.25 seconds

While Simoya Campbell finished 7th in the women’s 800 meters in 2 minutes 05.91 as Canada’s Jenna Westaway won the event in 2 minutes 01.22 seconds.
