The Clarendon police have confirmed reports that they found alive, the woman believed to have been travelling with a man, who was shot and killed near the Salt River, in the Cockpit community, yesterday.

The woman is receiving medical attention.

Yesterday, the police issued a missing persons alert for thirty-two-year-old Sherine Fox, a bartender of Marlie Avenue, Pembroke Hall, Kingston and Rocky Point, Clarendon.

This afternoon, the corporate communications unit of the police force sent an update, indicating that Ms. Fox, had been found.

Yesterday, officers on patrol along the Salt River main road, found 57 year old Esron Laing of Kingston 20, on the ground, with a gunshot wound to his face.

His range rover motor vehicle was a few feet away in bushes, along the embankment of the river.

Several items of female clothing were strewn along the roadway, but the police did not find a female at the scene.

A missing persons report was then filed and a search launched.

Today, security guards reportedly saw Ms. Fox walking along the roadway in a neighbouring community.

She was reportedly dishevelled and disoriented.

They took her to a nearby police station.

The Clarendon police say, the investigation has taken a sensitive turn, and they have declined to state, if a suspect has been identified.
