Janeek Brown top performer for the University of Arkansas

Former Wolmers girl’s star Janeek Brown was the top performer for the University of Arkansas at the Arkansas qualifier on the weekend.

The freshman dominated the field to set a personal best of 8.15 seconds to win the 60 metres hurdles well ahead of Charisma Taylor (8.66).

The mark is the 3rd fastest in Arkansas history and is tied for the 15th fastest time this season.

Brown has been impressive in her first season at the collegiate level and as it stands brown would qualify for the NCAA National Indoor championships

The top 16 marks in each individual event automatically qualify for the NCAA National Championships Indoors and Outdoors.
