by February 18th, 2018

The man, who was being sought in relation to the murder of a teenaged girl in Granville St. James yesterday, is reportedly now in police custody.

Irie FM News understands that the man identified only as Zoo Bug was picked up in down town Montego Bay this morning (Feb 18).

It’s understood that the man fled the community yesterday, after residents heard that he was being sought by police in connection with the death of 14-year-old student, Tianna Clarke.

Angry residents also set fire to the man’s home.

The fire was put out by units from the St. James Fire Brigade.

Yesterday, residents found the girls naked body in an unfinished, abandoned building at Brown’s Lane, in Granville and alerted the police.

The teen reportedly had wounds to the face.

Clarke’s mother Valisha Vidal told Irie FM News that on Friday, her daughter went to a nearby shop but did not return home.

She and the child’s father were in the process of filing a missing person’s report with the police yesterday, when she was informed about the discovery of a body inside a building.
