The People’s National Party has named 38-year-old medical doctor, Dwaine Spencer as its candidate for South East St. Elizabeth.

The constituency is being represented by JLP MP Frank Witter.

Dr. Spencer, who is the brother of former PNP MP Kfor St. Elizabeth North East, Kern Spencer, was presented by the party at its constituency meeting last night (Feb 21).

According to PNP General Secretary Julian Robinson, Dr. Spencer has the ability to serve the people of South East St. Elizabeth well.

Mr. Robinson said the party will present its standard bearer for South West St. Elizabeth before the end of next month.

Meantime, the PNP General Secretary has confirmed that Dr. Shane Alexis will remain the party’s candidate in South East St. Mary.

Dr. Alexis lost to the JLP’s Dr. Norman Dunn in a by election last year

And, Mr. Robinson confirmed that the party has several female candidates, for the next General Elections.
