Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan has moved up to take top spot on the latest release of the MRF Tyres ICC T20 International Player Rankings for bowlers after a leading role in the 2-0 series win over Zimbabwe.

The 19-year old, who last week became the youngest male cricketer to be top-ranked in the ICC rankings when he rose up to joint-first in ODIs, has moved up after taking five wickets in the two-match series in Sharjah to complete the double.

He leads the rankings on 759 points – 59 ahead of Ish Sodhi of New Zealand.

West Indies spinner Samuel Badree occupies the number 3 spot followed by Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell Santer.

Sunil Narine at 9th is the only other Windies player inside the top 20.

Over on the batting rankings, Evin Lewis (no.7) and Marlon Samuels (no.25) are the West Indians in the top 25 of the table that’s headed by Colin Munro of New Zealand.

Samuels meanwhile occupies the number 4 spot among all-rounders. Glenn Maxwell of Australia holds top spot ahead of Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Nabi.
