In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, Girls With Goals (GWG) will highlight verbal abuse with special emphasis on street harassment.

The purpose of GWG is to combat the obstacles currently facing Jamaican girls and provide a viable alternative for success.

President of Girls With Goals Tanya Isaie gives us the details.

To commemorate International Women’s Day, Girls With Goals will also stage an in-house Spoken word event to provide young girls with a platform to help raise awareness about verbal abuse through poems, and short stories.
