High-flying Manchester City have been handed a mouth-watering all English Premier League showdown with Liverpool in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The teams will face off at Anfield on April 3-4 with the return leg to take place at the Etihad Stadium the following week on April 10-11.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are the top scorers in the competition so far with 28 goals and inflicted City’s only defeat in the EPL on January 14 – a 4-3 win at Anfield – while Pep Guardiola’s side beat the Reds 5-0 at Etihad Stadium last September.

The other marquee tie in the round sees holders Real Madrid facing Italian champions Juventus in a repeat of last season’s final.

Spanish league leaders Barcelona,chasing a first title since 2015, have been handed an assignment against Roma while Sevilla, who are taking part in the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time, must travel to Germany to face five time winners Bayern Munich.
