The St. Mary police are appealing to anyone with information about the murder of a bus driver, to come forward.

Dead is 47 year old Michael Walker, of Salem in St. Ann.

He operated a public passenger bus from St. Ann to St. Mary.

Walker was chopped to death by unknown assailants in Retreat, St. Mary on Thursday March 15.

Reports from the port maria police are that about 9:00 p.m. residents saw Walker with multiple chop wounds, and alerted the police.

He was taken to hospital, where he died while being treated.

It’s reported that Walker was robbed of valuables to include money and a cellular phone, and then chopped by his attackers.
