A Kingston man has been hospitalised after he was allegedly shot and wounded by his 4 year old son.

It’s reported that this morning, the man and the child were in a room of the house, when explosions were heard.

The man, who is a licensed firearm holder and firearm instructor, was found with a wound to his shoulder.

He has taken to hospital for treatment.
