A motorcyclist was killed in an accident along the tower isle main road in the vicinity of the transport authority, in St. Mary this afternoon (Mar 18).

The biker was hit from the motor cycle by a Nissan sunny motor car, and fell on the bonnet of the car. The body is still on the scene.

Irie FM News understands that the Nissan motor car was turning from the main road onto a minor road when the collision took place

It’s further understood that the man, who resides in Negril, Westmoreland, journeyed to Hunts Town in St. Mary yesterday for a nine night, and attended a funeral today.

Police and fire personnel are on the scene.
