National swimmer Breanna Roman recorded another personal best time in the 100 metres women’s breaststroke event when she stopped the clock in 59.50 seconds at a Collegiate meeting in the United States on the weekend.
Roman swimming for auburn University set the pb in the heat and followed that up in the b final with a fast 59.92 seconds.
The pb pushed roman to number two all time on the auburn rankings and is the second fastest Carfita performance of all time .
Only Carifta stalwart Alia Atkinson and Micah Lawrence have posted faster times for the Carifta region and Auburn respectively.
The 200 yard medley relay saw Auburn’ s tigers team placing 18th… in 1 minute 37.50. Roman’s split for the breaststroke leg was 27.56 seconds. The 200 yard breaststroke saw her placing 46th in a time of 2 minutes 12.79 seconds .
The tigers finished 16th overall with 82.5 points.
