Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed urged the world to change its perception about playing International Cricket in the country after a highly successful T/20 international series against the West Indies.
Yesterday Pakistan beat the Caribbean side by eight wickets in Karachi to complete a three nil series whitewash.
In recent times Pakistan hosted the ICC world eleven T/20 tour matches at two of their major centers – Lahore and Karachi, in which Darren Sammy and Samuel Badree featured.
Through these fixtures, the country broke the long-standing isolation from hosting international teams.
In addition there have been over 100,000 spectators who watched the Pakistan Super League final and the recent three T/20 internationals against the West Indies, which is widely seen as a major step towards branding Pakistan as a safe country.
It against this background that Ahmed said that international teams should not be looking for any excuses not to tour Pakistan.
