One local company is using vehicles that are powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

Several vehicles operated by IGL have been converted from gasoline power to LNG power.

General Manager at the IGL Wayne Kirkpatrick says the move by the company is to create a cleaner environment.

Speaking at the launch yesterday (Apl 4), Mr. Kirkpatrick stated that IGL is moving to play its part in reducing its carbon footprint.

In the meantime, Energy Minister Dr. Andrew Wheatley congratulated IGL for their move in being the first company to introduce ING operated vehicles.
