Entertainers sign Condolence Book for Winnie Mandela

Entertainers, industry players, lawyers, doctors and government officials assembled this afternoon at the South African High Commission in Kingston to sign the condolence book for South Africa’s anti-apartheid icon, Winnie Mandela.

Reggae entertainers Tony Rebel and Queen Ifrika gives Music News the 411 from the function.

Winnie Mandela paved the way for women in the struggle to end apartheid and fought relentlessly for their rights and welfare in her country.

She died on April 2, at a hospital in Johannesburg. She was 81.
