Prime Minister Andrew Holness says climate change is a real and present danger to small island developing states.

Prime Minister Holness made the pronouncement has he addressed a forum at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in the United Kingdom.

He states that it is not a philosophical issue, but is an existential threat for developing countries.

He pointed to the rising sea levels and three category five hurricanes,that meandered through the region wreaking havoc.

The Prime Minister told the gathering that there needs to be meaningful dialogue towards a long lasting solution.
