English giants Manchester United boast the most powerful brand in world football according to a 2018 report by Brand Finance.
The findings show that United’s brand power is worth a whopping $1,895 million – $564 million more than local rivals Manchester City, who are the second most valuable English club brand and 5th overall at $1,331m.
Second and third are occupied by back to back Champions League winners Real Madrid ($1,573m) and Spanish champions Barcelona ($1,511m).
German title holders Bayern Munich are fourth with a brand worth of £1,406m.
The rest of the top-10 places are taken up by English clubs with the exception of French treble winners Paris St. Germain who are in 9th place with a value of $913m.
Champions league finalist Liverpool ($1.204m) are in the number 6 spot after moving up 3 places while Chelsea, who dropped 3 spots, are 7th with a value of $1.195 million.
Arsenal ($1,083m) and North London rivals Tottenham ($764m) are non-movers as they sit 8th and 10th respectively.
