National senior team coach Theodore ‘Tappa’ Whitmore has put pen to paper on a new contract with the Jamaica Football Federation.

Whitmore’s signing of the new four year contract, which starts on June 1 and runs through to the December 31, 2022, followed a meeting with JFF president Michael Ricketts.

A release from the JFF said “both parties are satisfied with the terms and conditions of the contract and now look forward to planning and executing on preparation for the senior team’s engagement in upcoming games and tournaments”.

The Reggae Boyz return to the field on September 2 when they host the Cayman Islands in their opening match of Concacaf Nations League qualifying tournament.
