by May 16th, 2018

Hear the Children’s Cry has launched a multifaceted runaway prevention programme, as an effort to expand its approach to the missing children crisis.

The programme is aimed at protecting hundreds of at-risk Jamaican youths who run away from home annually.

The programme which is sponsored by the Yello Media Group will operate under the slogan:  ‘Let’s talk, don’t walk’.

Speaking at the launch in St. Andrew this morning (May 16) Founder of Hear the Children’s Cry Betty Ann Blaine says children run away for various  reasons however a major one is the need for free will.

In addition she is encouraging children to communicate more efficiently with their parents.

She also highlights that parents should also strive to improve their communication skills with their children.
