3 firearms along with magazines, 37 rounds of ammunition, a ballistic vest, masks and camouflage uniform, were seized by police in Westmoreland, during operations today (May 20).

Four persons have been taken into custody.

Divisional Commander Superintendent Gary McKenzie says the operations were carried out in a section of Grange Hill known as Kings Valley, where several premises were searched.

Superintendent McKenzie says the security forces continue their efforts to eliminate crime in Westmoreland.
