Two policemen from the St. Ann division were taken into custody this morning (May 22) following allegations that they sexually assaulted a woman, last night.

Reports from the St. Ann police are that the two officers reportedly sexually assaulted the woman in Runaway Bay.

The police information arm says, a report was made and an immediate investigation launched, and the policemen taken into custody.

The CCU says a file is now being prepared to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions, (DPP) for a ruling.

The Independent Commission of Investigations (Indecom) has been informed of the incident.
