Two persons are dead and 2 wounded following a shooting incident at Waltham Park road in Kingston this morning (May 27).

Dead are hearse driver Michael Bent of Woodglen Drive Kingston and 17 year Dontae Jackson of Wint Road Kingston 20.

Reports are that about 10:20 a.m. Bent drove the hearse to the Waltham Park community, to pick up relatives of a person whose funeral they were to attend.

Police say Jackson, his sister and another child were about to get in the hearse when 2 motor cycles drove up.

Men on the bikes opened fire on the group.

Jackson and Bent were pronounced dead at hospital.

While, Jackson’s sister and a 2 year old boy sustained wounds and were admitted at hospital.

Their wounds are not considered serious.
