Some dancehall fans are calling on Spice to honor herself and walk away from her role on popular reality TV series Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

Concerns were raised following Monday night’s airing of an episode in which Spice was engaged in fat shaming another member of cast, with things getting ugly when the cast member threw her purse at Spice, and security had to intervene to prevent both ladies from snatching each other’s wigs.

Spice was quickly converted into a viral meme on social media, with some social media users, saying they don’t think the role Spice has been playing in the reality TV series has been good for her brand.

Spice has since apologized, saying that scene is officially the most horrific situation she has watched on TV, and that watching back herself fighting on TV has left her with deep despondency.

Former Miss World Lisa Hanna in responding to Spice’s apology post said “You’ve succeeded because of your authenticity and unscripted sincerity, I’ve never watched this show because of the stereotypical character I know the writers would’ve given the editors for you, don’t let them stereotype you” While another fan on Instagram implored “You need to leave this show its beneath you. Bad for your career in my opinion.” while one user on twitter said “the show does nothing for the organization she just launched.”

Spice signed on as a supporting cast member for Love and HipHop Atlanta Season 7, after appearing as a guest celebrity last season.
