Jamaica to host final round of the 2018 Concacaf Caribbean Women’s Qualifiers

Jamaica will host the final round of the 2018 CONCACAF Caribbean Women’s Qualifiers from August 25 – September 2. 

The event, which is being played in a round-robin format, will qualify three teams from the CFU to the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Championship in the United States.

It is being contested by the five first-round group winners, Antigua and Barbuda, Bermuda, Cuba, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

The Jamaicans will open their campaign against the Antiguans at the National Stadium on August 25 before facing Bermuda 2 days later.

The Reggae Girlz will then take on Trinidad on August 31 before ending against Cuba on September 2.

The CONCACAF Women’s Championship in the meantime will be staged from October 4-17 and will see three teams gaining automatic entry to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

The fourth-place finisher will enter an intercontinental playoff.
