Jamaica’s leading female triathlete Lori Sharpe   had to settle for 24th of the 28 competitors in her effort for development competing in a meet in Brasilia – Brazil yesterday.

Sharpe’s competition efforts was severely hampered as she had to borrow an inferior machine for the race with her personal bike still detained by custom officials in Brazil.

The Cycling association secretary Anna Kaye Sharpe, said the Brazillian High Commission will be contacted on Monday to sort out the issue.
