Jamaican umpire Jacqueline Williams to officiate at  ICC Womens  World 20/20 qualifier

Jamaican  umpire Jacqueline  Williams  has  been named on the  panel of  umpires to officiate at the ICC Women’s World 20/20 qualifier  in the  Netherlands next  month.

Williams will join Claire Polosak, Sue Redfern, Roland Black, Pim Van Liemt and Ahmad Shah Pakteen, all from the Emirates International or development panel of ICC umpires to share the umpiring duties.

Eight teams   converge in the Netherlands to do battle  for the two remaining places in the ICC Women’s World Twenty/20 which  will  be  staged  in the  Caribbean  later  this  year.

The  winner  of  the  July 7 to 14  qualifiers  will join hosts and defending champions West Indies,  England, Sri Lanka and South Africa in group a, while the runner-up will be in group b along with Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and India.
