by July 7th, 2018

The West Indies cricketers will now turn their attention to the second test against Bangladesh starting next Tuesday at Sabina Park.

Heading to Jamaica for this contest the Caribbean men must feel a sense of great confidence after celebrating  their  biggest innings  victory  at  home  yesterday following  a  massive  innings  and  219  run win  over  the  before  lunch  on the  3rd  day  of  the  first  test  at  the  sir  Viv Richards  Stadium  in  Antigua.

For the Windies bowling attack Shannon  Gabriel  with  his  5th  five  wicket  haul dominated  yesterday’s proceedings bagging  5  for  77  as  the  visitors who  started  the  day  at  62 for  6, held  on  before  they  were  bowled  out  for  144.

Captain Jason holder  3  for  30  and  Miguel Cummins  2  for  16  accounted  for  the  other  wickets, while  man of the match Kemar  Roach  who  claimed  5  wickets  in the  first  innings did  not  bowl  in the  second  innings  because  of  a  hamstring  niggle.

Final scores in the match Bangladesh 43 and 144, West Indies 406.

Former West Indies captain Clive Llyod says he was surprised that Bangladesh feared so badly in the contest.
