Giles Barnes aiming to revive his career

by July 20th, 2018

Jamaica international Giles Barnes, who returned to Major League Soccer (MLS) in the USA, wants to revive his career after a difficult period in Mexico with Liga mx team club Leon.

After six seasons in the MLS Barnes joined club Leon from Orlando city last season but things did not go to plan.  The 29-year-old forward endured a difficult stint in the country, where he failed to make a single league appearance and only three in the Copa mx.

In addition to a late arrival to the squad, Barnes believes he was hampered by the language barrier and a bone bruise, which made him further unavailable for selection for a few weeks

Barnes, however, returned to the MLS last week where he joined Colorado Rapids.
