Councillors across the island will find themselves in a better position to reach out to the needs of their constituents who are heading back to school in September.

Minister of Local Government Desmond McKenzie says Councillors will get 300,000.00 each, to assist with text books, uniform and tuition fees.

Mr. McKenzie was speaking at the just concluded Local Government Conference in Montego Bay.
