by July 27th, 2018

Left pacer Sheldon Cotterel is now on his way to St Kitts where he has been called up to replace the injured Andre Russell in the West Indies squad for tomorrow’s third and final one day international against Bangladesh.

Russell will miss the game due to a knee injury picked up during the first ODI last Sunday.

The 30-year-old returned to the one-day side recently for the first time since 2015, taking one wicket and scoring 13 runs in the ‘Windies’ loss.

He missed the second victorious ODI to have treatment on his knee, and is expected to be fit for the three-match T20 International series between the nations.

Meanwhile West Indies captain Jason Holder is upbeat ahead of tomorrow’s decider.

The windies’ full squad for the deciding ODI is Jason holder (captain), Devendra bishoo, Chris Gayle, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai hope, Alzarri Joseph, Evin Lewis, Jason Mohammed, Ashley Nurse, Rovman Powell, Sheldon Cottrell, Keemo Paul, Kieran Powell.

The three-match T/20 International series begins on July 31, with the two other matches on August 4 and August 5.
