The Hanover police have launched a search for a man accused of beheading his best friend at his home in Cascade district this morning.

Dead is 22 year old Keneil Hall of Rejoin district in the parish.

Reports are that hall went to visit his friend in Cascade, as the friend was reportedly suffering from a nervous breakdown following the ending of a relationship with a woman.

It’s not clear what happened at the house but it’s reported that the friend attacked Hall with a machete, severing Hall’s head.

Parts of Hall’s face were also mutilated.

A neighbour allegedly observed what was happening and raised an alarm, at which point the attacker ran into bushes and escaped.

The police were summoned and Hall’s body and head were removed from the scene.
