Mr. Grant also highlighted the shows transformation over the years, and its international reach.

He called on the Mmayor of May Pen, and the incoming JAS President to ensure that the legacy project, that is, the hotel and conference centre, is completed within the next few years.

Meantime, Junior Opposition Spokesman on Agriculture Victor Wright has indicated that under a PNP led government, young people entering the agriculture sector will benefit from provisions for land and financing.

Speaking at the Denbigh Agricultural Show in Clarendon yesterday, Mr. Wright referred to what he called the PNP’s new deal for agriculture.

He said he is encouraged by the increase in the number of young people going into agriculture, especially those keen on using technology.
