Public relations manager at Sandals resorts Ian Spencer is the new president of the St Mary Cricket Association.

Spencer was elected unanimously when the executive met to revive the semi dormant association.

He told ire FM sports that they will be looking at a wholistic approach in moving the sport forward in the parish

Meanwhile the new executive sees Junior Matterson as 1st vice president, Carla Cohen as second vice president.

Tashana Brown is the secretary with Fabian Angus as assistant while Paul Williams is the treasurer and Wayne lynch assistant treasurer.

The executive will convene is first meeting next week.
