One man was killed after a cement mixer truck fell on top of the car he was in, crushing it, along the Spur Tree Hill main road in Manchester this afternoon (Aug 11).

The identity of the dead man has not been released.

Director of the Road Safety Unit Kenute Hare says reports are that the truck failed to keep its lane.

The persons in the truck received minor injuries.

Mr. Hare says today’s crash resulted in 14 fatalities since the start of August.
